What we would suggest to start your first day in Herakllion is a walk in the city centre to get a glimpse of the main sights of the city.
Starting from your room Artree Suites head first to the port then turn left and visit Koules (Castello del Molo) on your way there you can see the Venetian Walls
After visiting Koules, you can then walk up 25 August Street to the City Center. On your way you can see :
